About

Michael and Marissa, along with their four children, serve out of their ministry base in Herrnhut, Germany. Marissa grew up on the mission field in Central America. From an early age, her call to reach tribes, tongues, and nations with the gospel was evident. Michael was born in the eastern part of Germany during communist times. He miraculously encountered God’s love at a youth camp and radically gave his life to Jesus. He went on to be a leader in a revival movement among the youth of the Lutheran state church, which saw many saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Michael and Marissa have dedicated their lives to reviving the saved, saving the lost, and training a generation to follow Jesus to every corner of the earth. They are strategically located in Herrnhut. Founded in 1722 under the leadership of Count Zinzendorf by refugees fleeing religious persecution, Herrnhut witnessed a Pentecostal-like outpouring of the Holy Spirit which sparked a vibrant missions movement — influencing men like John Wesley, William Carey, and George Mueller. The Moravian missionaries lived by this motto “We will win for Lamb the reward of His suffering.” Our primary vision is to re-dig these ancient wells of revival, prayer and missions.

The foundational principles of prayer, worship, community, and missions form the basis of our ministry. As leaders in a Messianic ministry called Gateways Beyond, we partner with a local church to support a 24-7 house of prayer, a strong community of faith, and a center for discipleship training and missions mobilization.
